This engaging parent/child class is designed to help families prepare for the exciting transition to kindergarten. Come to school each week with your child to learn about all things kindergarten! Each session will focus on a different school-related topic such as: visiting the lunchroom, a bus ride and discussion about expectations, a visit with a kindergarten teacher and the school nurse, touring different areas of the building & playground safety. Children will enjoy hands-on activities that build school readiness, while parents participate in discussions, gain insights, and receive helpful tips to support their child’s journey into kindergarten. Join us as we explore, learn, and grow—together Who: Children entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2026 and a parent Must register for all: total of 4 Sessions Date: April 13, 20, 27, May 4 Time: 5-6:30 PM Fee: $20/ 4 sessions Sibling care is available for an additional fee. ECFE End-of-Year Picnic For families with children ages birth to 5 Celebrate the end of a fantastic year with an outdoor picnic full of fun and laughter! Enjoy games, bubbles, and time to play and connect with other families. Bring your own lunch, and we’ll provide the watermelon for a sweet summer treat! Pack a blanket, your favorite outdoor toys, and come ready to make some sunny memories together. All families with children ages 0-5 are welcome! Date: Tuesday, May 26 Time: 11:30- 1:00 Location: Lakeshore City Park (Starbuck Park) Free! No Registration necessary
