ECFE classes support children ages birth-5 years old and their families.
Early Childhood Screening is a FREE developmental screening required for all children age 3-5, by the State of Minnesota prior to entry in kindergarten and some early childhood programs.
Screening is a simple, careful check of your young child's speech and language, thinking skills, physical development, and social/emotional health. It is designed to ensure the healthy growth of students to be successful in any educational setting.
Little Lakers Daycare is held at Starbuck Campus.
Little Lakers Preschool offers classes for children ages 3-5 years of age.
The BSP and ASP are held at Minnewaska Area Elementary School.
Minnewaska's Before School Program (BSP) and After School Program (ASP) are designed to be a safe, welcoming and enriching environment where children are able to be cared for before and after school.
BSP is offered at Minnewaska Area Elementary School from 6:30am - 8:00am ($5.50/day)
ASP is offered at Minnewaska Area Elementary School from 2:45pm - 6:00pm ($8.00/day)
Non-School Day care is offered at Minnewaska Area Elementary School from 7:30am - 6:00pm ($30.00/day)
Programs are available for children in all day preschool through 6th grade that attend Minnewaska Area Schools. Bussing to the ASP is provided for students in 4th-6th grade.
Attendance can be full-time, part-time or drop-in; however, the child must be registered online to attend. Parents/Guardians are responsible for making changes to child's schedule.
An automated payment withdrawl will be made every two weeks. A late fee of $10 will be charged for late payments.
If Minnewaska Area Schools are closed due to inclement weather or an emergency, there will NOT be any School Age Child Care offered. If school is running two hours late due to inclement weather, BSP will also be two hours late opening at 8:30am. Should schools close early due to inclement weather, ASP will not be offered.
